We are delighted to have the opportunity to share modern works, including several from our previous concert, Impure Music, with a new audience! The event starts at 2:30 pm CST on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the Cruce Stark Auditorium at Grayson College, 6101 Grayson Drive (Hwy 691), Denison, Texas 75020.
Works by John Cage, Morton Feldman, Moon Young Ha, Dieter Schnebel, and Stefan Wolpe will be performed by violinists Kathleen Crabtree and Mia Detwiler, violist Mike Capone, cellist Kourtney Newton, pianist Jeff Lankov, flutist and Sounds Modern director Elizabeth McNutt, and clarinetist Alex Ravitz; Sounds Modern assistant director Andrew May will conduct the Ulman work.
